Gulp!

I just talked to my old boss and put my name in as a possible substitute teacher for the next couple of months. I don't know how often they'll need me as I'm 13th on the call list (unless it's in the math area where I'll be first call), but at least there is a possibility of having something to do and making a little cash. It's great not having to jump through any hoops to get a job. I already know the people I'd work with and most of the students so I'd have a lot less anxiety than if I substituted at a new school. Hopefully they'll need me here and there. I also found out that 75% of my students earned college credit for the AP Calculus exam last year. That's pretty darn good.

In other news, I'm changing my cell phone plan. I thought I did a lot better this month with my calls, but it was even worse than last month. I'm not sure how that happened because I barely talked to either of my sisters. :( We're going to double our minutes and I'm going to try to sweet talk them into retroactivating the new plan since we've been such loyal customers for almost 10 years. I'm sure that I'll continue to have a higher need for minutes as I'm home alone later in pregnancy and once I'm home with a newborn and family living so far away.

I talked to the upholstery guy yesterday and picked out fabric for the rocking chair. Of course I went straight to the $40 sq.yd. fabric instead of the cheaper kinds. This is going to end up being a pricey project, but it's going to be so neat to have in the family. The fabric is a green kind of basket weave look and will look very nice once the chair is stained a dark brown. The nursery is already so sweet with the furniture that Claudia so graciously kept for me to use. I love being surrounded by family, even if it is just family furniture.

Jon's 28th and Hailey's 9th birthday is on Friday. We're going to visit the family in FD this weekend from Saturday morning to Sunday evening. It's been a long time since I've seen my sisters and their families. Friday we're meeting our friends Clint and Callie that we haven't seen for about a year. Also, Friday is Jon's last day of oncology surgery. It hasn't been too bad of a month despite him working some late nights. At least he hasn't been on call! Thursday is the beginning of the 3rd trimester. :)
