Excited

I'm so excited because my friend Jamie is having her little girl on Friday. We did an impromptu photo session this morning since it was our last time together as pregnant chicks. That's a whole lot of belly! I think I'm done buying stuff for Charlotte. I bought her a couple more wool items to serve our diapering needs. At the top, you can see her wool sheepy sack. Basically, it's a wool tube that allows one to change diapers easily at night. She won't need a cover over her diapers and will stay dry. You'll see when I take pictures of it in use. Below the sack is a pair of longies that my friend Mandi made for me...I mean, Charlotte. They're gorgeous and I can't wait for Charlotte to wear them. The other two pairs of longies were bought a while ago.

Mina and I had a bit of excitement on Monday morning. I carried her down the stairs and when I got to the bottom of the stairs, I tripped on a toy (no, I didn't fall down the stairs, contrary to the rumor going around). We both fell down and landed on our sides. Charlotte continued to move around and I didn't have anything weird go on so I guess everything is fine. Mina didn't get hurt either.

Last night I woke up with contractions about once an hour. At one point I had one that hurt bad enough that I clutched onto Jon's arm and groaned. He was annoyed until he woke up enough to remember that I'm pregnant and due soon. Once he figured out what was going on, he wanted to help, but it passed quickly. I've felt fine since I got out of bed and haven't been having any contractions.

My appointment isn't until 11am tomorrow. It'll be interesting carting along a two year old during her lunch time and right before nap time. I hope she's as wonderful as usual.
